Rob Muris is working in the red team of ABN AMRO Bank N.V.. He has over 11 year's experience in IT for various medium to large companies with more than 8 years in IT security.
Rob graduated as a Bachelor of ICT at Zuyd University. During his study Network Infrastructure Design he decided to specialize in cybersecurity and forensics. His specialties are conducting penetration tests on major infrastructures and providing hacking presentations and demonstrations.
In addition, Rob is also providing hacking presentations and demonstrations. In this role, Rob gave hacking presentations during various events (e.g. InfoSecurity.nl, InfoSecurity.be, security management congress 2013 and Erasmus University Rotterdam).

Rob graduated as a Bachelor of ICT at Zuyd University. As part of this study he learned to develop and manage complex network infrastructures, organize networks in the area of network services and to design complete networks. During his study Network Infrastructure Design he decided to specialize in security and forensics by following the minor Network Forensics Research. Some of the topics that are covert during this minor are network forensics, malware investigations and forensics tooling.

Rob was working as a Junior Manager within the Cyber Risk Services team at Deloitte Risk Services and was responsible for performing penetration testing for various clients and involved in the development of the Hacking as a Service services. In addition, Rob gave hacking presentations and demonstrations at various event (for example InfoSecurity.nl, InfoSecurity.be, security management congress, NBA accountantsdag and Erasmus University Rotterdam) and was a facilitator for the Deloitte Hacklab training.
Graduate Internship • 2011 - 2011
Rob graduated at the "Programma Aanpak Cybercrime" PAC of the Dutch police. Here he investigated detection methods for Peer-2-Peer networks.

After his internship Rob worked part time as an ICT administrator at Imtech Netherlands. He was involved in multiple projects. Next to these projects he also solved end-user hardware, operating system, network and software problems as a second line specialist.

Deloitte Hacking Challenge • 2013, 2014 & 2015
This hacking challenge was organized for people that always wanted to test their hacking skills. Those people could join the Hacking Challenge at Infosecurity. Ten teams of two people competed for the trophy in an exciting Deloitte Hacking Challenge. They will try to gain access to the systems and data of a fictitious banking organization in a Capture-The-Flag type of game. During this hacking challenge we guide the audience through the hacking game as the actions of the participants where monitored and shown on a large screen for the audience.

Presentation, Hacking, CTF, Challenge, InfosecurityThe Global CyberLympics is an initiative of the International Council of E-Commerce Consultants (EC-Council) and is being supported by the International Multilateral Partnership Against Cyber Threats (IMPACT). The purpose of the CyberLympics is to improve the level of cyber security and cooperation between countries.
The CyberLympics consists of a series “ethical hacking” games that consist both offensive as defensive security challenges. Over 600 teams participate in the preliminary rounds and the best teams representing all continents are invited for the finals.
The Deloitte Netherlands team has emerged as winner for three times (2011, 2012 and 2013) and is currently reigning European regional champion. Rob was a member of the Deloitte Global CyberLympics 2013 team.
